Just get an 89 TPI prom and eliminate the cold start system.

I think changing the calibration to allow you to eleminate the cold start injector is the better option in the long run,
but you can find them on the web, and possibly autozone type stores.

U would have to modify the prom from 89 for your car since it has a VATS setup and you do not. No big deal and any capable tuner could do it easily.

It is simpler and a lot less prone to problems if you do go this route and disable the cold start inj completely.

If any of this scares you, I would recommend replacing the cold start inj. and the switch that controls is and be on your way

later

i appreciate the help guys. i'd love to eliminate the cold start injector all together, but i don't really know how to tune a prom. and i;ve allready spent $130 dollars on a stage 2 performance chip for the computer allready in my car.

for now i'm just gonna replace the injector. later down the line when i know more about programming i will eliminate it all together.

thanks for the help guys.
