CAn someone help me out with my situation. I just installed the control module, pick up coil, ECM & Prom. Also, changed the distributor. But the wierd thing is when I start the engine, then she shut offs... What happended in hmy situation?

 

Assuming you installed the control module, pick up coil, distributor correctly. Make sure you have you're EPROM installed in the socket correctly. I know if the EPROM is in backwards the car will start then shut off.

 

The Eprom is installed correctly...

 

do you have the old Prom you can install and test with see if it starts?

 

i could try that and see if my motor doesnt stall.

 

my mechanic figured out the problem, either the short is coming from the distributer or the wiring from the ecm.. Everytime i connect the balancer, wattever its called, my motor just shuts off after i turn it on...
