Engine mods

I plan on buying some parts to upgrade the car. Im looking a two different sets of headers, SLP and Edelbrock. I already have SLP dual side exit exhaust on the car. Dont know which set is better. As for the air intake theres only one choice that I have seen, SLP cold air. Plan on going with a B&M short throw shifter. Looking at Splitfire triple platnum plugs along with Taylor spark plug wires for a possible better spark.

i have the edelbrocks. cheaper, easy to install.

SLP's is better quality, more expensive and hard to install from what i hear. the tubing is also bigger.

my edelbrocks will be for sale as soon as i get a chance to remove stock exhaust from another bird so i can use it on mine. ima be putting the stock manifolds back on.

Go SLP for the best . I love mine . I have the B&M short throw shifter ( Ripper ) .It's not really short . But it's a naice notchy positive feal . The other shifters I think you can get an actual shortter stick without haveing to cut it .

good luck man

Why not make your own intake system, and spend the few hundred on some SLP Runners and port them

The SLP 1 3/4's took my car from a 15.2 down to around mid to low 14's. IMO they are worth the time and effort for a mild modded car. If you plan to do anything serious I would do your light modds elswhere for now and get longtubes when you go for heads and cam exc.

Hey thanks for the advice with my car. The only thing I am going to do to my car is just headers, intake, and possible chip and the b&m shifter. Thats the only thing I plan on doing to that car since it has low miles and I want to keep it stock well somewhat.
