The Edelbrock TPI manifold has been on the market since around 1990. I bought one of the first ones and it has been on my car ever since. In my opinion a good product. They also make the manifold for a couple of other companies.

I got one too . I ported and siamesed the runners in 4" it works well . SOme have complaints about the casting being bad .....I never encountered it . But the runners ( to me ) kick everyones *** ..... and have the most potential for porting .

Forget edelbrock get a Holley stealth ram or converted LT1 intake.

Maybe he needs the EGR ? Or just likes TPI .... like a few of us around here Best looking intake out there . Also IMHO It's the best street setup aswell ( Long tube runners design) .

I must of got one when quality control was on strike cause it was the sorryest POS casting I've ever seen. None of the inj holes where cut the same and had bad vac leaks and the bottom runner holes where drilled in the the coolant crossovers. So they leaked till sealed. My Vortec intake was 100% better.

It makes a great $300 paperweight!
