T/B heater bypass?

I have done this on my older v6 cavalier, i looked at my 89 305 tpi, and i see a coolant hose goes in and out of the t/b most likely as a heater for it. can this be bypassed? theres little gains in doing it i hear.

thanks guys

Yes, it can. Theres a kit floating around for $8, or you can do it yourself.

yep any heat removed from the motors air intake will help. Maybe not much but it should on those hot days.

I got a little question. Since bypassing will help a bit, becouse hot coolant will not wamr throttle.. Will cooling it help?
I mean, something like giving some system with some cold fluid flowing through where orginal cooling fluid used to go in TB..
What do you think?
