runner question
i am looking into new runners for my 305 TPI. but i was wondering if they are going to flow any better than what i have.
the ones i'm lookin' at are the corvette L98 runners, and i have an LB9
any increase in flow expected?

Car: 1987 IROC-Z Camaro
Engine: 5.7 350 TPI - SLP Runners, AFPR, MSD Goodies
Transmission: 700R4 - Shift Kit, Corvette Servo
Axle/Gears: BW 9 bolt, 3.27s
They will give you a few ponies just bolted on, to see a decent gain, youll need to port you plenum. The runners are really ment for 350 car, but it should bump up the power band on you 305, not neccessarily more power, but it should allow it to rev 200~rpm higher, which every tpi needs.
btw, don't i see you on iroczone.com?

Stock runners are stock - 305 or 350, they were the same on both engines. Thread Starter

In no post, other than the very last, did he mention a non-factory runner. He said he was looking for runners, but the L98 runners. You went on to state that he would see gains. Maybe you misunderstood which runners he was asking about when he asked "the ones i'm lookin' at are the corvette L98 runners, and i have an LB9 any increase in flow expected?"
