The only thing you will have to change is the eBrake cable, you won't have to change it, just modify it a little. Everything else bolts right in, the rear is a little bit wider so your 3rd gen tires will stick out about an inch or so on each side, 4th gen wheels will fit flush.

Transmission question

Ok my iroc-z (350 5.7L Auto with 2.77 gears) is stock except i have true ram air, thats the only upgrade i have. I took it to the track last thursday and ran a 14.3 with and 1.9 in the 60'. As u all should know the car redlines at 5500, with the yellow line starting at 5000. Starting off the line and going through first gear, my car switches into second right on 5500 (redline), but when it switches from second to third it goes all the way to 6000 then shifts into third. I dont have a chipped ecu, its stock, and I still have a stock transmission absolutely nothing done to the car except the ram air. Is this supposed to happen? Is it good or bad? It doesn't seem bad because i ran a 14.3 but i dont know if it is good for it. Please let me know. Thanks

Also if i had my rear end changed to the 4th gen 3.23 or 3.42 gears will i be able to get into the high 13's with just gears since im getting consistent 14.3's now?

The 3.42 gears should bring you down .2 or .3 and give you 1-2 mph trap.

My car shifts at 5300 through first, second, and third. Your car should not be going to six grand.

the third cable on your throttle body that controls the shifting on the transmission.

I think if you lower your shift points you will go faster for sure.
