Look around here http://www.ruffstuff.com/

You'll want a die grinder that handles 1/4" shank bits,
and at least one mandrel for sanding cartridges, and of course the cartridges (sanding rolls).
If you use an electric die grinder then you'll need a dimmer switch to control the speed. This is a must have with electric.

305sbc - You're right about using the dimmer switch with the electric die grinder. I ported quite a few intakes, runners, plenums etc. using an electric without some type of modulating switch. Let me tell you, a 1/4 hp electric grinder is a serious tool.

For my last project I bought a Dremmel foot pedal that worked great!

I used a drill with a metal "rasp"to take the majority of the material out, then a ship load of 60 grit sanding rolls and a dremmel tool . then finished of at about 120 grit at the end. i used the bigger runner gaskets and matched it all to my ported edelbrock base. pulls to at least 6k now hope this helps by the way they make an extention that goes on a drill, to get down in the runners pretty good
