If i put some vortec 160 intake 202 exhuast valves do you think i could pass smog or should i get some stock vortec heads I live in california

unless you're doing other a lot of other mods to the heads/motor, you won't see any noticable difference in power between the stock(1.94/1.5) valves and the 2.02/1.6. - so the first question is, do you need them?

you can easily make 400 hp with 1.94/1.5 valves, so why spend the money to step up?
