Tpi Injectors

A WHILE BACK MY ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP GOT CLOGGED UP BEFORE THIS HAD HAPPENED I HAD INSTALLED 24LBS INJECTORS DUE TO A STOCK INJECTOR THAT WAS ALSO CLOGGED. RECENTLY I HAVE THE FEELING THAT ONE IS AT LEAST CLOGGED DUE TO ITS PERFORMANCE. HOW CAN CLEAN THEM ?? IVE BEEN RUNNING INJECTOR CLEANER BUT I STILL FEEL A WEAK POWER AT HIGH SPEEDS

First, verify all igniton pieces.

Second check fuel pressure at rail at idle and under load.

Than pressurize the fuel system and block off the feed and return lines and see how long it holds pressure for.

This will give u an idea of where the problem lays or if u have leaking injectors or not.

If u still suspect or find an injector issue, do a search for Rich at Cruzin Performance. Good guy and fiar prices for cleaning service.

yeah my pressure is good and the ignition is good good spark, wires new distibutor the thing is that the injectors were brand new and i have been experiencing the problems like whne my 8th injector was out which was weak mph on the freeway in 4th gear "700r4" im thinking that something went wrong due to the cloggin on the in line fuel pump.

ditto

Aways look at the cheaper things that are most likely the problem before suspecting something expensive.

I'm digging this one out of the grave...I want to get my injectors cleaned as well. My question is would it be cheaper to send them out to Rich and is he a better person for the job than say a dealership or local shop? Would a local shop or the dealership just overcharge or is Rich just that good over there. Just curious before I disassemble my TPI...

Also, if it is too costly, I dont want to spend the money cleaning them if I can get new ones for like double the cost...meaning if its 100 bucks to clean them and I can get 8 new ones for around 200, its hardly worth spending the money on the used ones. ill just put them in and hope theyre ok and will be ok for a while...when they go Ill replace them if thats the case. Just looking into what other people have done or think. Just hate putting used injectors back in a rebuilt motor if Im gonna have to yank them and the plenum 10K miles later...
