Injector

I have a bad injector and the parts stores want $81 for 1. Anyone know a site that sells 1 cheaper than what they want?

***E-BAY*** I bought 8 used injectors from a mustang for $28. The car runs great and haven't had any problems.

I thought about ebay but i dont really want to wait a week or more for it to get here. GM only sells all 8 and its like 120. I can go to ford and see how much they want right? What would i have them look it up for a 91 GT? Would having 7 gm injectors and 1 ford injector work?

It would be better to get all 8 the same. But if you have to, it would "work" (ie, car would run).

Do i need to take the plenum and runners off to change the injectors? Can i just unbolt fuel rail and pull it up?

GM sells ALL eight injectors for $120???? Are you sure? That sounds WAY too cheap.

I just looked on E-bay and found about 20 good auctions for 19# an hour injectors for 5.0 mustangs that were $20 or less. On the TPI side with chevy injectors they run a little more and are not as good as the mustang version.

I bought some accell injectors from summit racing for $259 I think. I didn't think that was to bad and have been running them for several months now with no problems. I think they have free shipping to.
