TPI Project Questions

I know this site is for 3rd Gen F-bodies, and this is a question for a 2nd Gen, but this seems to be the best place to get the info that I need. I have a '78 Type LT with a carbed 385, on 10.1:1, TFS 23* heads, 6" H-beam rods, Jesel Belt drive, 4 - 7 swaped, Electric WP, and Aeroquip hose and fittings throughout, and all this going through a T-56 to 4:10s in the rear.

I am now looking at putting an EFI system on it. I love the idea of a factory based TPI, but I also know that a stock TPI will never flow what I am in need of. So I have found this one that should provide what I require.

I also am sold on Craigs AutoProm for tuning.

However I do not know all of the Ins and Outs of ecm's, EProms, and compatible parts, I have been reading a lot and still I know I have only scratched the surface. I have a solid background in performance engines, but I need to know which ECM, and EPROMS, I will need to make this thing go. Along with any changes to the electronics that may be required.(re-pinned?)

I have read up about using the 7749 in place of the 7730 for forced induction, because I am toying with the idea of a SC or turbos in the near future.

Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

for what your asking, it would probably be best asked in the DIY PROM board.

The 730 is being used now for both N/A ($8D Mask) and boosted apps ($58 mask). Some slight repinning is still required but is not much work at all. Take a look around the DIY PROM board in the stickies. Lots of good info on both in there.
IMO I would go with a different manifold than the long runner designs. Stealth Ram is less expensive if it will fit your needs. Check out the Alternative intake board and see what the other options, pro/cons are before you buy any one of them.
