1/4 Mile Times

Hey I was just wondering what people's quarter mile times where, with whatever they have had done to their car, you can post a picture if you would like. I have a 1989 Camaro IROC-Z with the 350 5.7L Automatic transmission with stock 2.77 gears. Everything is stock for this car except I have a Ram air setup.
I ran a 14.3 in the quarter with a 1.9 60' foot. Thanks guys.

You should be running much faster than that, even for a 305.

I run low 14s all day with basic stuff. View my www.

87TPI350KID, why should he be running faster than that, he only has a 97mph trap speed. 13.9 is about right for 97mph trap speed. 13.70 is a tad slow ET for me with a 100.5 mph trap speed, I should be running 13.50 or so with a better 60ft time.

13.9 seems normal for a 86 305 tpi with those mods. I mean stock they only ran 15.5's beacuse of the lg4 cam. Maybe he could use some better tires?

I realize he has a lot of bolt ons. If you read my post I said his ET matches his trap speed well. He isnt making enough power to really go much quicker, I would say 13.80 is probably all the car has in it on a perfect run. No offense ment here just stating facts. Bolt ons don't automatically mean fast times or big power. Judging from his trap speed I would guess him at 270-300 hp ---> about 230ish at the wheels.

As stated above not all bolt ons insure better times. There are many little things that ive done to my car that showed on the dyno but not at the track.
