Can I put an in tank pump and pick-up unit for TPI from a 1985 f-body into my 1984 f-body which was originally carburated?

According to the 82-92 CD from MM the part numbers for the tank are the same.

can someone advise

Just gotta regulate the pressure down, and use a return line-if you're using
a carburetor, assuming I read your post correctly and you are using a carb.

No. . .converting my 84 to TPI. Want to put TPI pump set up in my 84 tank.
