Yes u can do it(its been done)

Is it a m60 or a m90? The m90 would help out some, but your gonna have to spin the dupe out of it and some porting would really help..

The Ford versions on the Super Coupes are a little better suited to transplants however.

way a min, the 3.8 Super Charger sits right intake and not a Centrifugal type. How will a v6 super charger work with a 305?

If you want a supercharger just go out and get one made for your car. Its so much easier.

yep homer's right plus you'll save time and money spent on rebuilding a blown motor from trying to fab up something that in my head might be pretty freeking hard

I disagree . You can get a nice kit from BBS for 3400 . All that other stuff adds up to more than that

I'm about to try this on my suburban for economy, not performance. I figure by using alittle boost I can work the motor less to get the same result, possibly helping mileage/grunt. - It'll be on a 083/vortec(trying both) headed 305. - I may also try stroking to 335.(smaller bore size can be made more efficient, but I may need more inches pulling a trailer) - what do you guys think?

economy and 4x4 suburban don't usually go together, but I'm gonna try. - I think the charger will get me what I want, but we'll see. I was thinking of just modifying a single plain intake to accept the charger/injectors. The pulley is 6-rib, so I'm going to line it up w/ my serp drive. I've got the charger, so what the hey, ya know...

Yes it can be done for cheap it just requires some thinking, time and research. Im putting out 4-5 psi with the stock size pulley and no port work done. Im in the preocess of putting a smaller pulley on and porting the inlet and outlets to increase airflow. Should be able to see 7-8 psi fairly easy. Later

Looks like TPI PowerDyne

I'm digging the intake below the cowl on the hood.

That is a supercharger off a thunderbird supercoupe (eaton m90), the m90 on the GTP has a longer snout but basically the same thing.

what would you guys think is better, setting the blower up on an intake(like conventional roots) or divorced and plumbed (like a centrifugal style) I could run an air-to air intercooler w/ the divorce mount, but I could also run either a water-to-air in the intake, or maybe even worm an A/C line through under the blower for cooling the charge. - not sure if its worth it for a non-performance application though...

well on top a liquid i/c will need at least 1" of spacing. thats what i had on my gtp. i took the padding off the hood to make it just fit. so think hood clearance. also the routing of your hoses and the radiator you will need. it works but a air to air from a seperate sc will be far more efficiant. and lighter. try the supercoupe setup. it is air to air and works well its not made by ford thats why just remeber what ever you do check kr and get your chip modified for the best benifits.

I'll be running the Megasquirt ecu, so no chip/issues. - Hood clearance? Suburban...I could sit on top of the Tpi intake and close the hood. - I've got a GTP unit, so probably that. - Forget the intercooler, just set-up for set-up, which would be better. I'm starting to think blowing into the TPI would because of off-idle response, but am I wrong. I know that if I was going WOT all the time, I'd have boost, and the intake would be a wash, but I'm talking rolling around town, trying to pass gas-stations...

I'm just looking for opinions here. Just your thoughts and why.

thanks, justin...

the m90 from a gtp will take a lot of fabrication to make work. the thunderbird one is halfway there. go to www.clubgp.com and see if you can sell it then pop to ebay and get a complete t-bird unit.

I build chassis'/do motor swaps for "fun". Fabrication doesn't bother me...But I am a cheap bastard...
