i used to run a LT4 Hotcam and LT1 intake on my old 350. It wasn't too bad of a setup. The only thing i wish i had was maybe a 3.42 or 3.73 rearend to put behind it. I tried the LT4 Hotcam in my 383 for a bit but just recently removed it and sold it. I just felt i could find a better cam for my stroker. I am running a 2500 stall which is still the same one i had with the 350. The power band really seemed to kick in around 3000... after that it would just take off like a rocket. Below that though was a little soggy. Hopefully this helps...

I was running 24lb Injectors at the time. As far as the computer went i had to change some of the MAF tables but soon after went to the 730 Speed Density computer. Alot had to be changed as far as the VE (fuel) tables went. Also the injector constant had to be changed because i was running bigger injectors. I never got the chance to take it to the track. It was in the original 200,000 mile L98 i had. The oil pump took a dump on me and that was all she wrote for the 350. In the 383 and the 350 it sounded nasty without any tuneing done. After i got things squared away more and more it started to mellow out. You could tell it wasn't running a stock cam but it didn't sound like you were in a top fuel dragster either. For the money i got what i wanted. I drove the 350 as my daily driver. Overall wasn't bad, but there are better cams i believe that would yield more in the ways of performance and driveability.
Edit: I should probably also mention that my heads were ported also so that may have helped me a little.
