surging problem

surging problem

what would cause my engine to surge really bad and cause it to stall plus im getting code 16. High battery voltage OR
Direct inition system open or shorted to ground

Vacuum leak can cause a surge. Never seen a code 16 before. Have you checked the batt voltage with an external meter??

I dont know off hand what code 16 is.

Have you checked TPS voltage? a bad TPS will cause surge.

alt. is what sends voltage to bat. have you had it checked? (it might have a bad diode.)

YES I HAD IT TESTED THE BATTERY AND ALT. IS PUTTING OUT 15V

NOW THERE IS ANOTHER THING WRONG WHEN I STAR THE ENGINE IT SHUGS AND SKIPS BAD AT FISRT I THOUGHT THE CATALAC COVERTER WAS CLOGED CUZ IT WAS SPITTING EXAUST BACK THROUGH THE MANIFOLDS SO I TOOK OF THE CAT AND IT WAS CLOGED BUT IT STILL RUNS THE SAME SOME PEOPLE SAY IT COULD BE A SHORT OR BAD GROUND SOME WHERE

man this is bull**** now the computer is spitting codes like crazy by the way this is a v6 mpi with coil packs not my 383
codes im getting

15. Low temperature indicated at engine coolant temp. sensor
I CHANGED THIS ONE

16. High battery voltage OR
Direct inition system open or shorted to ground
THIS ONE SHOWS UP EVERY TIME BUT THE REST DONT DEPENDS ON HOW IT STARTS UP

21. High voltage at throttle positon sensor

43. Low voltage at electronic spark timing circuit
