TPI large cap module???

TPI large cap module???

Does anyone know if GM has an upgraded ignition module for there TPI large cap dizz? I am re doing my motor and I am also going to go through the dizz while its out. I figue if there is a better than stock piece I'll add it now. Thanks.

I don't know if GM does or not, but just about all the aftermarket ignition suppliers (like Accel and MSD) offer module upgrades. I've never seen a performance gain compared to a good module, so I personally don't upgrade them anymore unless the stock one is bad. If it's Ok, I'd apply that money towards a MSD box or similar.

I thought about a 6AL but I'm just freshening bottom end, stock cam, 1.6 rrs. trickflow 175cc,bigmouth and edelbrock runners. This will only pull to 52-5500 max so I think the stock big cap dizz is more than adequate for this perticular combo.
