I have a 91rs 305 w/ TBI, and i am looking to convert to TPI when i drop in a 350 soon. Reason being, that my stock TBI is a little messed up and on the way out the door, and ive heard TPI is easier to tune. First of all, can I use my stock TBI harness, or would I be better off taking the complete TPI harness from a junkyard car, or modifying my current one? Also which heads will boltup to the TPI unit, is it possible to hook vortecs up, l98's? Will i need special runners or manifold for that?

im in the process of the same swap except mine is an 89....i got a rebuilt 350TPI pretty much complete and am just about done....im sure theres a lot of things you will have questions about so dont hesitate to PM me.....as for your harness, if your existing harness is still in good shape then talk to a guy named mike.....his email adress is mike@eficonnection.net.....he converted mine at a very reasonable price and did a great job.....his member name on here is S10wildside.......let me know if you have any questions...good luck
