take a look at tire pressure, that always helps. Our cars from what i heard don't really like timing for some reason. You could probably get away with advancing the base timing to 8 or 10 with some good gas. Fuel pressure isn't too big of a deal either unless you have a wideband and can get a perfect 13 to 1 a/f ratio. Just use that stall to your advantage and if need be, the best mod I ever did was a set of nitto 555Rs. That'll help your time alot.

When I went, I ran a belt that bypassed alternator and power steering. It was a 6 rib 43.3 inch serpentine belt. If you want the routing, shoot me a pm. I already had the smog taken out, so if you do that, you are going to need to get one slightly longer. Also, keep your tire pressure at normal if you have radials. I made the mistake of taking pressure out and was all over the place on my launch. That really only benefits you if you have slicks or drag radials.

Pop the hood in the staging lanes, let her cool down. You can try timing, but make sure you have the Octane to back it up. Run a can of seafoam through the tank this week to get the entire fuel system clean. Thats basically it.

Oh yeah, and go on the last yellow...trust me. My best RT the first time at the track was .05 and my slowest was .12...no red lights =D

thanks for the replys. i have a good set of tires on and i dont have a problem there. Im going to take some bags of ice to keep the intake cool and try to mess with the timing some.. Ill probably run 100 to 110 octane while im there. if you know anything else just let me know. thanks

disconect the coolent lines from the tb and cut back theground electrodes, turn up the fuel psi to around 50 (i forget the ext. number) but when you change the fuel psi the computer compansates for it, so to get the hole benifite of turning up the fuel psi you will need to unplug the 02 sensor (be warned by unpluging the 02 sensor your cooling fan wount come on)
