Watch the Classifieds here, Ebay, or your local Classifieds. You should be able to fine one relatively cheap.
I picked up a L98 Long Block for like $100 bucks a year ago. (~100k mi)

that 355 will botton up to everything you got there. if i was you though i'd get some new heads, cam and or get them rework. 180k is a good amount of miles. you don't want them old parts to break that new block your getting. Maybe replace some of them hard to reach cheap sensors too. at least i would. I'd get trans rebuild at the same time. might cost money but you'll be happy that you took the safe route down the road

im guessing this isnt a daily driver. if not i would save your money for a little bit and build a good engine once.
check out the forsale section on camaroz28.com for various lt1 guys selling their cams. if i hadnt have picked up my cc306 for so cheap i was looking for a 224/230 grind from combination motorsports. i was going to pair that with a set of either afr or patriot performance brand heads along with the lt1 intake.
the best thing to do is look for good deals. i got my cc306 for 125 bucks shipped. yes it has a little under 10k miles on it but with a roller cam that really doesnt matter. im expecting to pick up a good used set of pro mag rockers for under 200 bucks (found a set for 175 that had 300 miles on them but didnt have the cash) and whatever other used parts i can find.
when i rebuild the bottom end im going with a 355 much like you and did some quick parts searching a couple weekends ago with summit and had a completely forged bottom end with rings, forged pistons, and forged h beam rods for less than a grand.
the deals are there, if you have the time, find them and do the job once to save you down time and money later on.
