egr valve

Ok this may be redundant, but i can't sesem to find anything on it. I pulled a 1987 tpi off the ta- do I have to use the egr valve for it to work properly when reinstalled. Keep in mind that I will be using the stock 350 chip and I do not have to worry about emmisions.

later and thanks

No. But it wouldn't hurt you to. You'll probably also set a code without it connected, and you will need to account for some differences between the 350 and 305 fuel systems since you're using a 305 tpi and a 350 chip and ? motor.

If you're using a 350 chip you're going to need 350 injectors unless you reprogram. I believe the knock sensor is also different for that block. I can't think of anything else this late.
