Dont do any mods.

Get the car into 100% tip top shape.

Do anything that needs to be corrected first.

Get some base line times at the track as well.

A proper stock tuned L98 should net u middish to low 14's at the track.

Good tires like drag radials or slicks and a healthy exhaust might net u into the 13's.

Investigate learning to tune as well. It has a relatively low investment, but a large return on mileage, power, track times and driveability.

Than start slowly doing mods optimizing the car as you go.

later

Let me get this straight... You post a set of headlights for sale in the classifieds, i pay for them, and TWO WEEKS ago you tell me you havnt had time or the capability to ship them out because youre immobile and depending on your dear old dad... But you managed to get out and get a new car?

So what gives, did i contribute to your down payment on it? And do i get to take it for a test drive too?

Hey man dont come attacking me about your frustrations your headlights have been shipped argue with fedex not me. by the way your headlights had nothing to with the iroc.

First, i dont even buy that theyve been shipped. I have no tracking numbers, nor any indication from you that theyve been sent (tho you said id have them by wednesday, the LAST time you promised something).

If they HAVE been shipped, it isnt FedEx's fault they got sent TWO WEEKS after you had spendable money in your hand.

Third, my headlights have nothing to do with your iroc, and everything to do with you. Its a thirdgen board, with thirdgen enthusiasts, that dont like being ripped off. Dont want me tailing you around the board bringing it up? Dont take money for parts you wont ship.

Simple solution.

I have 0 private messages. And if you dont believe me, call on a moderator to check that.

And tracking numbers notwithstanding, i still think these guys should know that youre inclined to hang on to their money for a couple of weeks while you take your sweet *** time car shopping, before you send people their stuff.

Its disrespectful, its rude, and its annoying.

wow what a b***h fest. Sucks you got burned, But I agree with 3.8, get it tuned up, learn to tun ethat car, get the suspension squared away to handle more power. Then begin to mod. Subframe connectors are great for the strain the body goes through. Yeah, and if you did, don't screw members over! We're good people.

thanks

i kno your good people i have been around here along time and i do not rip people off hopefully when this guy recieves his headlights he'll post back saying i didnt rip him off. I love thirdgen and i dont want people thinking badly of me. Anyways thanks for the reply that is actually related to the thread. the car is in good running shape right now i think im gonna buy some lower control arm relocation brackets for traction. Anybody else have any mods that will improve traction and get my suspension ready for power? also what engine mods should i get now that i have all my mods in the signature?
