My best time at the 1/8mile w/m&h 305/40/16 slicks off nos was 7.23@98mph and on the juice (150 shot) was 6.019 @106mph. the original air intake box is still there but i have cut out the mas screens and fins also the boxes under the air cleaners. any sug. as how to get more air in this ride without turbo or super chrgr?

Yup you have done all you can with the TPI . Go stealthram , or like said above Miniram , but I like the stealthram better

I'm thinking of a LT1 90degree throttle bodie snout then my maf then one of those tunner 4in pipes going down to a huge cone filter, or flipping the y shaped air box upside down and cutting 2 holes in the hood and making a real ram air! ??????

I think you should design your own intake. A guy in Mustang Performers took two bullet shaped mufflers, make 4 runners 6'' long strait into the intake manifold and then connected the two muffers with a smooth pipe. two throttle bodies ect. all in all it was worth 64 hp and 20 lb ft tq. well worth it.
