NO POWER!!!! WHAT DO I DO?!
I have a car show coming up real soon so please give me your feeback asap. I have an 89 TPI Camaro. Ok now heres the problem I was driving home from my buddies' house one day cruising at about 50 in 4th gear when all of a sudden my R's just dropped and the car died. It didn't like do anything weird before dying off, the engine simply stopped. I tried starting it up and got nothing. After having it towed back to my house I checked the spark and it was good. Checked the fuel and there was nothing. I replaced all the components of the fuel pump setup only to find out that there still was no power getting to the pump. After doing that, the engine wouldn't even crank the next day. So I went throw all the wiring I could checking for power and where it stopped. I am not getting power to the ECM or the fuel pump relay. The battery has full power too. After reading the schematic in a Haynes Manuel I found that there is an inline fuse somewhere in between the fuel pump relay and ECM. It says its attached an orange wire too. Any ideas as to where that fuse may be or what else may be causing my car to get no power to all the main points.

It's up by the battery on the fender. It has a 20 amp fuse in it. Sounds like thats all it may be too .
Good luck

thanks alot! I found the fuse right away and the pump is now working. There is one other problem though. My car will not crank. I mean there is not a sound coming from the starter or anything. Any ideas?

ck the inline fuses at the starter, and also look for a or any pos+ wires that might be grounded. Because it sounds like u have amain + wire somewhere grounding out- this would explain all of these quirks
