Cruise Control suggestions

I wasn't sure where to put this but seeing as it's for my tpi I figured here. I do have another camaro with cruise control but I'm not sure what all i need. I have done some searching so don't start that please. I just need to know a few things: One, the thing that everyone refers to as the "orb of power" is that a black spherical thing under the fender? I have that then. The strange thing is that my wiper arm has the function stuff on it for cc, but I am missing the big metal thing that's under the hood, plus the extra throttle cable. I read someone's guide on how to retrofit this but it left me confused.

The thing I am curious most about is, what year is usable for the cc thing under the hood (thing that vacume lines hook to)? There's a camaro in the body shop of the place I work that's been there forever and I'm going to see if the boss cares if I steal it's cc. I think it's a berlinetta at that. The junkyards around here don't have any tpis but they do have alot of tbis and v6's, so if those work then awesome.

What you need is the cruise servo assembly and cable. And some vacuum hose. And the valve at the brake pedal. And some wire.

The servo should be the same for either engine.
