TBI to TPI in Firebird
I have an '89 TBI Firebird. In my car, the battery is on the right-hand (passenger) side. All of the TPI Firebirds I've seen have the battery on the left-hand (driver's) side of the car. is this correct and, if so, what is involved in swapping to TPI?

I'm in the process of rounding up parts for my own swap. Pretty much to do it right you'll need a complete TPI, wiring harness from a Firebird (the Camaro is different for the battery and canister wiring),ecm, fuel pump, high pressure fuel inlet hose (your TBI one won't cut it),TPI prom chip, throttle, detent and cruise control cables, knock and TPS sensors, dual fan setup (if you wish but it's not necessary) and some form of air intake. Not to mention the needed gaskets, hoses and such.
