Extrude Honing

Does anyone know if its really worth it to extrude hone a stock tpi manifold. From what I've seen the cost for the labor is close to that of an after market intake. I read the tpi shootout thread and noticed the power numbers from an extrude honed intake and aftermarket runners. I wouldnt mind using this setup if it made a decent amount of improvement. Has anyone ever tired this? If so would u do it again?

I priced it and it is expensive. The draw back to the aftermarket intakes is that the quality (from what I've read and my own TPIS (edelbrock!) big mouth) is poor. Pick your poison!
