the car runs only after I give it some carb cleaner in the intake. This will make it run the rest of the day if I turn it over then turn it off and turn it over again, then it starts. I have replaced the plugs and wires and tried a new Mass Air Flow sensor and haven't gotten rid of the problem.

Can someone help????

This popping the hood every morning is getting old - and yes the engine service light is on. Took it to local rip shop for a code check and they wanted a $1000 to do what I have replaced/checked.

 

Try pulling the codes and seeing what it is to begin with...

 

don't go back there either. Just pull the codes like said and we can start from there. check the how to articles here on how to do it. It's an easy check.

 

Might have some bad fuel injectors...or some bad orings. Sounds like your losing your fuel pressure.

 

Also check what the fuel preasure is , and how long it holds after turning the key off.
