Odd TPS readings

On my Actron ScanTool the TPS many times reads 0 or a 1, not the .54, etc type readings with decimals used. Has anyone else had this problem? A friend of mine has the exact ScanTool and it read the same thing.

Once in awhile it will read correctly but most times 0 without throttle. The last time it did read decimals it was .54 volts like it should be, but under WOT it read 1.9 ish only. Today I plan to test a spare TPS I have and check the wiring/sensor but curious if anyone has ever had a similar problem with the readings on their ScanTool, especially the 0 or 1 readings.

Out of curosity, have you tried using the multimeter method? Your scan tool might be showing you relavant information, but not in the way you're used to seeing it (ie different scale)
