Starting new engine

Im wondering weather i can start a new motor without using my MAF will it hurt anything?
It will get a new MAF less tune later.

Well it will run in limp mode and run like dog ****. I would just hook the maf up.

ok, well i was going to hook up my new cold air without the maf but maybee ill have to use the old intake till i can get a tune
