Anyone know cfm #'s for accel base and SR runners?

I have just purchased a Superam.

So this brings me to this question. Has anyone flowed there accel base in untouched fashion, or have they flowed there ported accel base? Reason being is, the SR I bought is a ported unit. Mind you I dont know what it flows, but I prob will get it flowed when I get it if its not too much money.

My heads flow 260cfm @.550 lift. So since the SR is ported, I am wondering if I need to get the base ported to match, but if it flows 255-260cfm out of the box then I am ok.

Anyways thanks. And yes I am thinking of the LPE 219 cam. I would like more cam then the 219 duration, but since everyone says it works, then might as well go with it.

Thanks guys! I am on the mod train once again, but this time I am going to go thru with it. I am not saying right away as this stuff isnt cheap. Still need to find deals on parts. Since this is going on my stock bottom end, I would like to get everything out of this combo. Goals are too dyno in the 330-340rwhp range, and run mid 12's. And FINALLY break that 4500rpm wall.

I know I had seen those numbers somewhere, but, IIRC, I think the unit flows around 220, or 240 cfm out of the box. The 219 cam is matched for the S/R, so I would use it. I know people that have strong running 383s with that cam, with the S/R. After you go bigger than a 406, then I would consider looking into a different intake. The S/R can not feed a LARGE engine with the air it needs. Ask me how I know. Even with porting, you will come up short, because then you will most likely go with a more "aggressive" cam, along with the cubic inch increase, that the S/R will have reversion problems with, and the idle will become unstable. What size engine are you putting it on?

Flow Number Comparisons

Here are some flow #s. It says the base is like 240 or 250 with a radiused inlet (which is the correct way to flow a port).

The runners flow more than enough even stock. I read once though to achieve the flow potential of your head port your intake port cfm should be higher than the head port cfm. If you port the base then you should get the best potential for the cfm your heads have now.
