Just installed an Accel SUPER RAM and PLENUM/RUNNER KIt ( Part #74196)

A Few questions
1) My 88 GTA is now overheating(wasn't before) Would it have something to do with installing this?
2) Car doesn't seem to run as good as it did with stock TPI. Seems to have lost power on take off
3) Anyone in West Tennessee area good at tuning this set-up I live in Martin, Tenn.

4) Would I be better off to return to the stock setup?

I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably you lost torque down low. High rpm should be much better. I hope you got a custom tune. Didn't you?

After the swap, you need to have done the IAC reset, minimum idle, and TPS adjustment Then set the engine RPM at 700. I dont like the official instruction which say something like 450. Also, I would set the static timing at 8* BTDC. Remember to pull the single wire for setting the timing.

All this stuff is in the tech article section on the home page here.

I'd also check to make sure you didn't break or otherwise screw up the coolant temperature sensor in the front of the intake manifold. Also, get your timing checked and set to the correct base timing.

Super ram

You may want to post this in the alternative port efi forum. There are several members there with the same setup. Vernw is an expert with the SR. Could you possibly have an air pocket in the cooling system? Assuming you did burp it? I would expect you to loose some low speed velocity seeing as how the SR base and runners are larger then stock pieces. Especially with a 350 vs. a larger cube engine.
