stock oil filler cap
stock oil filler cap
is the stock tpi oil filler cap vented? im looking at re installing my pvc system on my car and ditching the oil air seperator catch can , so on drivers side rocker cover i will have the pvc valve going into the barbed fitting into the intake manifold while on the passenger side rocker cover i will have the vent tube going to the top port of the throttle body or can i put a vented k&n breather instead of the vent tube and block off the port on the throttle body my valve covers have only one hole in each cover so to go completely stock i would have to drill a extra hole in one of the covers for the filler cap any suggestions appreciated thanks

Why drill a hole?
One of my camaro's the 89 rs project I have a breather on one side and a pcv on the other when I do an oil change I just pour oil down the breather side wait til it drains then re-install the breather. Why drill another hole unless you just think you gotta have the oil cap?
thanks for reply champ the only reason im asking is because in the workshop manual on one of the rocker covers there is a vent hose going to the tpi throttle body plus the filler cap so you think i can put a vented breather on one side and the pvc valve in the other block off the throttle body top port and it will do a adequate job
