Removing AC

88 TPI, im removing the AC. The previous owner got rid of half of it and it will cost alot to save it. Theres alot of wiring left over under the hood, can any of it be trimmed short or removed completely? A few plugs dangling around on the passenger side. Ive also got rid of the air pump so theres some crap on the drivers side as well.

The wrecking yard here would charge way too much to get everything i need for AC. I have a different project for my extra money, i just want to get this engine bay cleaned up, and right now its in my garage for a water pump and rad change.

Too bad you have a 88. I have a 87 and took all my stuff out. I'd sell you mine.

Shop around and call everybody that sells parts the markup is huge.
I just went to a local whole seller and got all new..compressor,clutch,condensor,evaporator,dryer and the expansion valve with oil and orings for $475 and new hoses for $60 at advance auto parts. had the 134 and got Ice cold air. Since living in Florida it was worth the money.
