Mod MAF Sensor
what exactly would i have to do if i wanted to modify my MAF sensor, other than sending it in to TPIs. They say you can do it yourself, but how?

Hello, remove your mass airflow senser and then remove the screens on each side of the senser.Thats about all I would do unless you have a good mech.background, becuse the next step is to remove the heat sinks (fins)inside the senser with a dremel or hacksaw-but becarefull of the sensers heated wire in the middle of the senser. The mod may give a little throttle response thats it! But it is free!

thats all i did, and i dont think its worth the truble to remove the heat sinks. If I were you I wouldnt do it, the gain is minimal and alot of people seem to have problems with their maf after its descreened. I know mine went out after I did it to my old one. The restriction the MAF screens make is tuned into the computer so if its flowing higher and you dont have it re tuned its gonna be running funny.
