i started out with a 1992 trans am with a 305tpi which i spun a rod bearing in and also a 1996 l31 vortec 5700 i pulled the 305 and i'm building a 355 vortec with about 10.5-1 compression, i'm having the heads machined and also having 2.02int and 1.60exh valves put in the heads, it's going to have headman fulltube headers to full 3" ypipe back to flowmaster single 3"in dual3" out and no cat. and you guys have also talked me out of tpi and into the holley stealth ram so it'll be that for the air/fuel. I'm running a lunati cam but i'm not sure which one. now what i need to know is what size injectors will i need for this motor to run top performance? and what cam would put me at top performance? i was thinking a lunati hydraulic roller EFI cam, and the one i'm looking at is .510in .525ex gross valve lift with a lsa of 110/106 what do you guys think? or would i get more performance from this voodoo hydraulic roller with .497in .504ex gross valve lift and a lsa of 110/106? i like the .510.525 cam because it should have that nasty cam idle sound, but which would be more performance for my car? also the car is a t5 and it will have 4.11-4.56rear gears just incase you need to know that. thanks for any help.

 

looks good. i dont know much about the lunti cams, but i know that the comp cams xfi cams are good.

any thing around 220-224 intake and 230-244 exhuast duration is good.(i like the 63-08-503-8 cam.

some 24# injectors will work fine with that compression.
