another TPI motor build done and running
ok I don't post alot mainly because you guys have kept me reading like crazy for 3 years. That being said i finally found some time to contribute to the site. first the motor specs
77 350 4bolt 010 motor from a 1 ton chev pickup
bored 60 over
converted to roller(don't try unless your awesome with air tools)
lt4 hotcam
2460 hooker headers
balanced everything
not shown- fully ported tpi setup (running SD)
- 2400 stall convertor
- stock 700r4 (hopefully it will live for a summer)
- 3:42 diff from a 96 WS6
- 3" stock exhaust from a 2002 ss camaro
Well it does great burn outs in the garage, but i'm still using a milk crate as a seat so the interior is next, hopefully by the summer i'll get the first run. It idles good at 1100 rpm right now but the emulator is on the way so i can lean out the lower fuel table soon. I wish it sounded a little louder, but i want it to sound like my minivan but go like snot, and so i can live with it without scaring my two year old. i'll post some more updates soon on the project. I'd just like to thank everyone on this board, God knows how many of you i have ripped off ideas from but it made one heck of a car thanks!
