Will a set of 1.6 roller rockers work witht he stock springs? im gonan be doing valve stem seals and figured I might as well upgrade.
Also what rockers would I need? Obviously self algining but are they the 3/8ths ones? Also if i should need new springs what do u recomend?

Stock would be 3/8's and everyone has their own opinion on what ones are best. How many miles are on this motor? I would strongly suggest looking at another set of new springs and changing those out at the same time as your seals. You will be amazed at how well your motor will run with a fresh set of springs. Look for ones compatable with how much lift your cam is going to make with the 1.6 rockers on. Hope this helps a little.

.404/.415 203/207 114.5. you dont need to tear down the motor to replace the springs. and with that many miles on your motor it would do some good.

I was told by someone that I might have to machine the heads so the pushrods will clear? is this true? never heard of that.

no, they'll be fine. if you add anymore lift i would get them, but you should be fine with that.

yes the push rods will be fine as your vavle covers. i dont know the part # for the vavle seals. you could do a engine seach on summit's site. any RR will be ok as long as there self alining.
