Why are u running the waste of 4:56 gears with a TPI?

Did u swap speedo gears so the VSS reads right?

Leaking 9th injector?

Bad temp sensor?

Leaking injectors or regulator?

later

injectors arent leaking either is regulator....all temp sensors read good when i put scan tool on it seems like its getting alot of fuel little air....check engine light is on not sure of codes but i know it has to do with emissions very very wierd

You may have a wiped out cam lobe, engine tick much in the lifter valey? I did it to my 305. Used to backfire BAD when I shut it down if I didnt blow the exhaust before shut down.

8t9 runs pretty good with 4.56 very fast off the get go not using for racing just because i bought it this way

tune up no but i have brand new ac delco plugs in it cap and rotor i have yet to put on it due to coldness of the outside LOL cant wait till spring weather then i should have tune up done :-)

but i do think the motor is getting to much fuel and not enough air i hate TPI rubber air intake tubes they are too long lol maybe MAF is screwed up not sure yet
