Gas Mileage Sucks...
I have completed a good tune-up. Things I have swapped.
Things I have changed.
Plugs/Rotor/Cap/Wires/Coil
Adjusted
TPS/IAC/IDLE
Car runs strong, I think, I can spin the tires as far as I want too and solid 2nd gear chirp. I am only getting about 9-10 MPG in town. Is this norm?
I do have a AFPR set at or about 44 PSI with vaccum pulled off. I have the timing set at about +6 degrees.
1. I have not changed the O2 Sensor could that be an issue?

I was thinking that just wanted to bounce it off of you guys. Should I go to a 3 wire sensor? I am not sure what thermostat is in the car but it runs cool.

I have changed more than you and still have the horrible milage. Same about 9-10 mpg. My converter rattles alot and I believe everything inside is broke up and clogged. I think that is what is killing my milage, you should look into it.

Re: Gas Mileage Sucks...
Well guys I would like to say thanks for the heads up on the O2 Sensor. Before I changed it, when I started it would idle up to 1500 then slowly come down to about 700, now it is rock solid upon start up when warm at 700. It has noticable more power now and the smell of exhaust is gone.
Butt dyno says it helped since I can burn rubber about 1/2 way through second gear now. So once again....I sacrifice a portion of my rear tires to those that guide us new guys down the path of speed on TGO.
