Anyone running this cam?

350 – 383 CID SBC Engine with stock manifold and heads Cam #74216
213/219 duration @ .050 .493"/.502" with 1.6 rocker

Lingenfelter cam for L98/LT1's I am running a modified L98 (intake, runners, plenum TFS heads, 106rr's) and I have the motor out. It currently runs the stock cam and 1.6rr's. Fuel mileage is decent and it has a tall 2.88 gear. I'm wondering how fuel mileage will be affected over the stock cam. Should I run this cam, tune it and leave the 2.88 or keep the stock cam, tune it and install more gear. Its mostly a cruiser that I like to take on highway trips.

Well heres the deal...I put the motor together last spring with the L98 cam. Now I have the motor out of the car due to a broken valve spring (inner). I ordered the heads with the small springs because I was keeping the stock cam. Now with the motor back out, I'm tossing the idea around of a cam change. Since I'm installing new springs and the heads are already cut for them I will probably upgrade. The thing is I drive this car alot on the highway and with the price of fuel nowadays I don't want to kill the decent mileage I get now. Decisions, decisions! Bigger cam and keep the 2.88 gear or more gear and keep the stock cam.......
