305 with rod knock...

My 305 just developed some rod knock. I have a 350 that I am going to rebuild for it. The heads I have are these:

462624.....75-86...350......76cc chamber, 1.94/1.5 valves

I can't afford to buy any other heads. I have a few questions. Can I reuse all of my old TPI stuff? And what cam will yield the most power without having to tune my computer? Any input will help...

Yes your TPI stuff will work just fine, you will have to change some sensors that are for a 350 not 305.
As far as the cam, is the block set up for a roller cam?? anyway I would not go over .488 lift with press in rocker studs.

good luck

No it is not a roller... What sensors would I need to replace? And will a hot cam throw off my computer?

Injectors, Knock sensor, EST module, the ECM prom needs to be for the 350 The ZZ4 hotcam is a roller cam (I think)
