I have a 87 camaro with a 350 the ecm is the stock 165 with a prominator and craig moates adapter installed so I can switch the bins out now my problem is ive tried tuning the 350 by myself and with the help at DIY prom board for several weeks now and ive come to the conclusion im just soo far from stock and with my skills in tuning at a beginners level im far out of my league to do this myself thus the reason im looking for someone or a business I can give a sheet of all my mods/ specifications to so they would be able to create me a bin where AE tables, LV8, maf scalers / tables and more are all in the ball park to where I can actually run this car and have it not pop and going crazy at different rpms. If any of you know of someone or a business that specializes in this, please provide me with the means as to contact them and id be greatly appreciative

Destructive,

There are so many places but as far as experienced Id say Ed at http://www.fastchip.com/
He does know his stuff. He is worth the money. Do a search and you will come up with much more. But over all, if you dont want to do it yourself, spend the money and go with Ed.

Good luck bro

when i had my 350 in a few different mail order chips were tried with no luck whatsoever. i believe ed was one of them, but not sure. i also have a buddy who tried one from another company and it runs less than acceptable to say the least. i actually travelled almost 8 hrs to get someone to tune it, towed the car there and back. was the best thing i ever did

First of all, i would be running 24#/hr injectors at about 48psi fuel pressure. The 30s will make it harder to tune for a good idle.

Whats the APYS bin? You have a 5.7L engine with a 5 speed, the factory ECMs do not cover that combination.

EFI tuning is basically the same as carbs, its all about air, fuel, spark. I tune first for a good idle, then cryuising around drivibility, then WOT.

Email me the APYS bin and your best bin files.

Holy crap! 149 words before the first period. I think that's a new record!!

Your best bet is to find someone local to you who does chips. Perhaps there's someone on one of the regional boards? I do tuning for a lot of the guys in SoCal. If not, I'd try Ed Wright like onfire suggested.
