Moving the map sensor...

Hi All,

I have a 85-86 TPI Set-up that I switched to Speed Density. I don't have the mounting hole for the MAP sensor bracket in the plenum.

My question is would it hurt or change anything to mount the map sensor on the firewall? It'll be about 15"-20" from its factory location so I didn't know if that would cause a change in vacuum or incorrect readings.

Thanks in advance

Dennis

No problem in moving it I just wouldn't move ti that far away, why not on the firewall?
