So i was doing some research as my injectors are fried..015 .017 .007x5 and one was .003So i did some research and accel has a #23 injector 1lb per hour bigger then mineIve been reading the ford injectors are shorter then stock injectors.I looked on summit racing and accels are 2.880 and fords are 3.0---- Im confused are accels even shorter then ford injectors?

 

Either will work but there have been numerous complaints about the Accel injectors. I'd stay away from them.

 

hmmm , i was under the impression the accel were good, im looking to get a new set or a good used set.

 

I'm using Accels. Car runs/performs great, but it's just a little harder to start after a hot soak.

They *were* shorter than stock, but they fit.

and a 0 my #8 cyl injector is shorted lol

this explains my surging idle and a miss at cruse and minor backfireing

 

how do you check them like you did.

 

you use a DVOM Digial volt ohm meter. and you put the unit on Ohms its like a horseshoe looking symbolThen you just unplug your injectors wiring from it and their will be 2 male pins sticking out of the injectos put one lead from the dvom on each pin at the same time and you will get your injectos ohms reading.anything below 12 is bad 0 is really not good its a shorter injector.if you get a reading like .008 or .015 your meter is on the wrong sub setting.

 

I've got a brand new set of 26# ACCEL injectors collecting dust and their replacement 30# Ford SVO injectors under the hood. The motor wouldn't run with the ACCEL's. They're total garbage.

 

I've been using the fiveo pink tops for over a year with no problems!

 

hey so that five o is a trusted site? Im going to be ordering some pink tops on the 9th Their the 269.99 ones on the ford injector page correct?Is says like set of 8 *pink tops

 

Yeah Five o is ok.You want the 22lbs injectors.They may have changed the color of the tops,I couldn't find the pink tops on thier site but the 22lbs are what you need.

 

yea ima call them and make sure im gettin what i want before i go paying for stuff ahaha... i just started my new job so im making bank now and ill be able to start gettin my car back to pristine condition
