Engine Swap

I have what is a 350 ZZ4 short block with Vortech heads The heads I am having drilled to accept the TPI set up. The car currently has a 305 HO TPI in it. any insight into problems with this. I will also be adding a stall converter, Edelbrock TES headers, roller rockers. I will be swaping the injectors, will the ones out of a new Vette work?

Shouldn't run into any problems. Your biggest restriction will be your lower intake, may want to port it or buy aftermarket, other than that, should be simple. 19lb 305 injectors will work fine, but you can use any from Lt1s or buy new SVO injectors which are decently priced. Don't think LS1 injectors are different, but don't quote me on that .

I tried to lay the manifold from a TPI on the long block and there is no way the ports will line up Looks like I'll have to wait for the new manifold to come out in Oct.

I heard the LS1 injectors wont fit, but you can use any out of an 85-97 TPI or LT1 car.
