Wrong throttle body
I accidentally bought a throttle body for the '85'-'88 TPI units. My car is a '91 w/TPI. Can I make it fit my car by just changing the brackets or something like that? Any help is appreciated.

I think you would need a 85-88 throttle cable for it too work. You also might need to drill a hole for the idle air in the front of the plenum. Its a little easyer going from an 85-88 to a 89-92 TB.
I was going to do the same thing i didnt want to mismatch parts so i bought a new one.
Good luck, here is some info on them Scroll down to were it talks about the castings: http://www.fuelinjection.com/portinj.html

It won't work without some major modding (and not sure even then) the IAC passages are different from the TB to the plenum on the different TB's,...might be possible to mod the plenum though, I don't recall which one has a hole in it, and which one doesn't.
At any rate, get the proper one.
