When Im sitting inside the car with doors closed, engine running, I hear a weird knocking sound (toc toc toc) that goes with the rpm...at about 1500rpm it disappears.
Well you cant hear it from the outside...so I checked the engine compartment. When I touch the fuel lines and rails I can feel the pulse exactly like the weird sound. I think the fuel lines transfer it to the body and thats why you can hear it on the inside.

You can feel the pulse on the Fuel Rails and on the Fuel Injectors...Im a car mechanic myself but I never experienced something like that. Has anyone had the same problem? is it a common prob on the tpi that the injectors get noisy? car has about 110'000 miles on it. I consider to change the Injectors...

my injectors do the same thing....the noise picks up with rpm and u can feel it the most on the FPR. i asked the same q befor and been told it happens a lot and not to worry...

 

yeah TPI always had loud injectors.. Its pretty normal.

 

What are the quitest good injectors

ok so I do not have to fear that they could malfunction in near future!

anyway..the noise bothers me...what Injectors can you recommend for replacement? original GM?
hope new ones are quiet...
