Will an LT4 cam work in an L98?

I'm looking into getting a new cam, now I've heard that the LT4 cam (not the HOT came but the normal cam) can work in an L98, but I've also heard that I would have to get a new ignition system?

What is better anyhow? ZZ4 or LT4 cam? At least for a mostly stock L98, that will eventually be made to run up to 5500 RPM or so.

Sean, I have the ZZ4 cam in my car. I love it, but I've also got my other mods too. You should get new valve springs with the ZZ4 cam as the stock ones wont handle the lift. The LT4 stock cam will bolt right in, but you wont see as much of a gain with it as you will with the ZZ4. Plus I know you're going to do other mods too, and you will wake up the ZZ4 cam when do them.

And to add to that... how would this cam work in a speed density LB9? The specs are something like 210/212 duration, .450/.460 lift, if I recall correctly.

Thats the specs for the LT4 cam, with 1.5 and 1.6 rockers. I think it'd be ok for a 305 too.
